The product of a spring and summer spent knuckling down in the studio, this week I will be putting the final touches to pieces for my latest solo exhibition titled 'Shades of Night'.
Showing at Lawrence Alkin Gallery in central London from 11th September to 26th September, it will feature new oil paintings and drawings, including works using white conté on black paper.

I have been particularly happy returning to focus on drawing, which although part of my practice for many years, has really come together to play a major role in this exhibition.
I have plans in the pipeline for some beautiful hand-pulled screen print editions of the works on black, more news to follow.
Opening a few days earlier on 5th September, I will also be part of a joint exhibition at David Simon Contemporary in Bath.
Titled 'Reflections', I will be exhibiting alongside London-based artist Jemimah Pattison. New work will be included, with the show running until 3rd October.
