July 2016

With only three weeks to go until my solo show 'Subjection & Discipline' opens at Unit London, things are hotting up in the studio. While I'm busy putting the finishing touches to the work, the gallery have been releasing some sneak previews in the form of an interview and exhibition trailer (below).

'Subjection & Discipline' will open to the public on 19th August and runs until 11th September. The private view event will be held on Thursday 18th August.

For details and updates on the show, make sure you follow Unit London's Instagram page. You can get a first look at the new body of work in the film below, made at my Hastings studio in June this year.

I was recently invited to take part in a Q&A at Soho House, London talking about the ideas behind the show.

Chaired by Miles Evans of the Serpentine gallery, the evening's event included screenings of the two films, a discussion on my inspirations and process and questions from the audience.

Over the next week or so the paintings will be packaged up and sent up to London. All that remains is to do some serious celebrating on 18th August!
