September 2016

I would like to take the opportunity to use this blog post to say a huge thank you to everyone who visited the 'Subjection and Discipline' show at Unit London over the past few weeks. The response to the exhibition has been incredible and I've been overwhelmed by the positive feedback I've received. The gallery looked incredible - the guys at Unit London definitely did me proud!

I was humbled by the speed at which so many of the paintings sold. The private view really went off with a bang! Thank you everyone who has got in touch with me direct to share your thoughts on the work, those who came along to the private view on August 18 (all 850 of you!) and everyone who has popped in to the gallery to take a look around. Subjection and Discipline will be on show until this Sunday 11th September, so if you haven't been along yet there is still a chance to catch the paintings on the wall this weekend.

BBC London visited Unit London on the morning of the private view and ran a feature about the gallery and my work that day. You can view the video below:

I created a new page on my website - 'recent work' - where you can find more information about 'Subjection and Discipline' including images of the works in the show. The page also has a link to the exhibition catalogue forward, written by Rachael Thomas from the Irish Museum of Modern Art, as well as a video interview made at my studio by Unit London.

Following some exciting meetings over the last few weeks and forging relationships with a couple of major museums, I have already started on my next body of work. I hope to be able to share more details in the coming months. In the meantime, I'm due to take a bit of a break later this month, but I will be back in the studio with a vengeance over the autumn.

Finally, a selection of photographs from the private view event are included in the gallery below, courtesy of Unit London.
