Jake's largest institutional exhibition to date - IN TURNER'S WAKE: Contemporary Visions by Jake Wood-Evans - opened at The Historic Dockyard Chatham this month. On show until 15th November, the exhibition brings together a major new collection of oil paintings, produced by Jake in response to historic loans from national institutions including Tate and The Courtauld.
Alongside a primary dialogue with Turner, the collection also explores reconfigurations of paintings by Lorrain, Poussin, Rubens and others; tracing ripples of influence throughout centuries of European painting towards the modern day.
